ABOUT US
The Open Extended Reality (OEXR) Library is a collaborative platform that provides open access to extended reality (XR) educational resources, including 3D models, VR applications, and immersive lesson plans. It aims to democratize XR in education by fostering a community-driven approach to sharing and accessing these resources globally.
Additionally, the OEXR Survey Data Dashboard offers insights into the OEXR survey that was conducted through a subcommittee within the EDUCAUSE XR Community. The OEXR Library is a resource provided through the Resource Collaborative for Immersive Technologies (RECITE) National Science Foundation grant (award #2331452).
The initiative is supported by a diverse group of Impact Allies contributing expertise in project leadership, Unity development, 3D model development, network infrastructure, research, and security & encryption to help expand and sustain accessible XR resources for educators and learners worldwide.
